This starts out with 12 bars of a BLUES BACKING TRACK in Bb (see even my prior video).Thereafter there are a few licks which are repeated 3 times over 12 bars. The next few licks are a few simple improvisations. The last few minutes are open for your own improvisation. I am still in a learning phase and find it easiest to play short themes boxed into 4 bars. Most of the better blues instrumentalists can play an interconnected theme over all 12 bars or divide their improvisations into phrases within or bridging key changes. This is my ultimate goal, but there is a long road getting to that stage.

  • @Tromb0ne22 Everything sounds better when recorded through a mike. I think the problem is that we are on the wrong side of the bell when we play.

  • some nice tone dude

  • @yyekcim Thanks for visiting and commenting. I hope I've gotten better since that recording. I am working on a new video right now.
