Counting line for Lollipops
This line is counting different quantities of pre-mixed lollipops into a carton. Three counters are used to either increase the
capacity of the line or make a real mix of three different flavours.
The counted products are discharged into a bucket elevator which transports them to a carton filling conveyor.
During the filling cycle a vibration system is employed to shake the carton in order to settle the lollipops into the carton prior to closing.
Why Counting?
Lollies are difficult to weigh since the weight of each one can vary. The weight variation is caused by air bubbles in the product and the recipe of the lollies. Counting ensures that the correct number is in the final package.
