  • is it me or he looks like vince mcmahon ? but thinner ?

  • @goodnamepending wtf like ?

    :L

  • @DoubleDz2k11 Yep :(

  • he look like a stick

  • @chainrider Ok man, I actually own "The art of Bop Drumming" and it's an excellent book. I really has helped me on my jazz playing, but that's all it's done. The few pages he dedicates to ethnic rhythms are the whitest, most americanized versions of them. I'm just saying he's a great jazz drummer and can probably just get by with latin music. Nevertheless his methods were of great help to me when i started playing jazz and seeing him play it motivates me to learn more.

  • @ignarukih so that'd be 5:3 poly instead of a 5:4 like the vid? for me that's way harder too

  • @Drumric305 You have no idea who John Riley is, do you? Go study "art of bop drumming" and "jazz drummer's workshop" and then return here with your written apology. "All he's good for is swing." LOL.

  • @prognosis2112 I know, huh?! Try phrasing those five-note groupings in 8th triplets under the ride pattern at 100bpm or so. Ouch!

  • Kinda glitchy, no?
