  • I'd just add one point: I don't think you can totally separate what's happening at home from what's happening abroad e.g. wages are cut and jobs move abroad only because workers abroad get exploited, with unlimited working hours, no union representation etc. So we have to support workers rights internationally - one way of doing this is by refusing trade agreements with countries which do not support basic rights for workers, another is by boycotting companies which exploit workers abroad.

  • Want to be successful. Get a good job, go to school, make good decisions. STOP WASTING YOUR MONEY.

  • Go your so full of shit. I can't believe I sat through this.

  • I challenge everyone who thinks that hard work will help you in this society, to a

INTELLIGENCE vs WEALTH match for 2008. we will find that the money goes into the hands of who those who print the money, and they give it only to their own chosen slaves!

  • poverty is murder. there are plentiful resources, kept greedily by the hogs. only those who a very rich stay very rich. the very poor stay very poor. 1 percent of the population control 99% of the wealth, and they do it on purpouse. so that their families can have a power trip for decades to come. the same people who are the controlling elite have the same family names going back hundreds of years. those who are not indocrinated into a certain way of thinking are not allowed to participate

  • Interesting vid. I can see the argument both ways. Just because someone is wealthy doesn't make them a bad person. So many people of the elite end of society have to bust thier ass vigoriously in order to achieve in this demanding world. Life isn't fair, and sadly, often playing fair leads you nowhere. I agree that no person in a civilized society should be in extreme poverty, but some people deserve more than other people, because they are harder working - and yes, smarter.

  • Good video~ nice to hear from people around the world. You make an excellent point about the war.And I agree the presidential election and voting for Barack is only a small part of a multi-pronged struggle, but many radicals here don't or won't vote.Hope to here from you.Peace.

  • ALWAYS LOOK ON THE BRIGHT SIDE OF (the economic arrangement of) LIFE (under capitalism)-- the worse things get (the worse poverty, militarism, the vacuousness of this bourgeois culture, and exploitation all get), THE MORE WE ALL REALIZE THAT WE ARE ONE CLASS, AND WE ARE ALL BEING SCREWED OVER. And I really do think that once it gets bad enough, we'll realize what we have to do: FIGHT BACK against the people we've been (often unwittingly) living our lives for--the corporate class.

  • Excellent! Gets me thinking:

Who are we? I mean teachers? If we're not poor, we're still part of the working class, we're the proletariat--pardon the Marxishness of that phrase, if you find Marxishness unpleasant. The academic class is by now, at last, mostly a proletarian intelligentsia.

The corporate class has long been engaged in concerted hostility against us-- economic exploitation motivates it all. But WE as a class have never been able to coordinate our OWN actions, to fight back.
