Vancouver Translink 2005 NovaBus LFS Demo - 1002

This clip was taken at Nov, 2005 when it was running on route 143 (Coquitlam Station to Simon Fraser University) at 2 yrs ago, this bus was fitting Cummins ISL-280 engine and ZF 6HP552C transmission~~

Vancouver Translink was announced to order 126 NovaBus LFSs last year, and they'll be delivery since June this year, hopefully they'll get the same powertrain as well~~

ha here in ottawa OC transpo frowns on those buses.They only purchased 20.A driver quoted "the controls are scattered".

They're slow because CTA detunes their buses. Ours are quick from the light and are governed to 65mph. Even with a full load of people, those LFS's we have are fast. They do good keeping up with traffic.

Chicago Nova LFs are also got the ISC/B400R Drive- no wonder they can't go very fast, but I guess thats America for you.

How come Cleveland gets stuck with a shitty ISC/B400R drive train and not a ZF!??! CANADA GETS ALL OF THE AWESOME DRIVE TRAINS!!

Very good.. :-).. maybe you could record the first seat after the last door?.. because the ZF gearbox sounds louder then.
