I've been diagnosed with depression, anxiety, insomnia and ADD. I am on cipralex, seroquel, trazadone, and vyvanse. My life has only improved because of this. Not all meds are good (was once misdiagnosed with OCD and given clonodine horrible stuff) but that doesn't mean they are all bad. Life isn't black and white. Everything is a shade of grey.
