With all of Marvin's great songs, this one arguably may be his best. Done between the years of 1970 - 1972, but it wasn't released as a single (late 1990) until 6 1/2 years after his untimely death (1984). It's the perfect "blue lights in the basement" song with his sensual, and seductive voice singing over the outstanding musical arrangements by some of the best studio musicians ever assembled, The Funk Brothers. Simply an incredible song from one of the best to ever take a stage, hands down!!

Besides "I Want You", it doesn't get any better than this. R.I.P. Marvin. Your contributions to SOUL music will live forever--Thank God!!

Of all of Marvin's cuts 'My Last Chance' and 'Let's Get It On' got me so much 'play' in high school. Marvin I want to personally thank you for this song because without them my love life would have been 'toast' :-D. An amazing ballad!
