  • It sounds like the keys were raised for her? Am i right?

  • I expect so - I don't know anyone else in musical theatre who could get that high!

  • Hearing it again. Do you think I am a fan?

  • In reply to Mcgravity1 and hillevifan.

I have seen her in concert and believe me she can sing and she is a graduate and starred in stage and opera. What you see is real talent and you get your monies worth at her concerts. No tricks just real raw talent and studied to get where she is now.

  • amazing, i played it five straight times marvelling at her range and purity of technique.

  • @IsherwoodWilliams1 - Fair comment. Sorry, I just don't like her...

  • @silverstartrucker She is hardly comparable to Russell Watson - she is a graduate of the Royal Academy of Music and was principal soprano of the English National Opera for ten years.

  • Classic FM gave this dreadful woman massive publicity, along with appalling Russell Watson...she is too high and squeaky...

  • I LOVE LOVE LOVE Lesley. HOWEVER....this is a musical theatre number and her voice doesn't suit it. In musical theatre you have to act through voice as well as through your body and emotions...it requires a realism in the voice, not a 'bel canto' quality. She should have let herself go there and forgot about technique...it would have been stunning.

  • We love you Leslie Garrett come back to Manchester soon. We want to see you in concert again.

  • Eat your heart Susan Boyle and make way for real talent.

  • oh that is so much high it still sounds beautiful though xxx i just finished playing Fantine in my schools production of les mis so this song means a lot to me
