Punjabi has apprxy 88 million native speakers.. out of which only 23 million are sikhs.
and mere bhai language is related to region not religion.. arabic is the language of arabs.. it can be arab muslims or arab christians or arab jews.
how r u claiming punjabi as language of sikhs if 63 million speakers are muslims and only 23 million are sikhs and 8 million hindu punjabis.
and thirdly as u said sikhism was born in punjab.. SO it doesnt mean that punjab was born in sikhism as well. cheers

@fktheworld1 English is not your first language then why are you speaking it? Why not just speak in Punjabi?...Do you know that people were speaking Punjabi before Guru Nanak Dev Ji? But nobody knew how to write it the second Sikh Guru Wrote it...Let everyone speak Punjabi in that way Punjabi can live forever look where English is. I know Punjabi can never reach English level but I believe whoever want to speak Punjabi they should No Matter who they are...

@goodbutbad89 No one is claiming that Punjabi is a Sikh language. The only people who sai dthat was the Muslim League and Jinnah. That is why Urdu is the national language in Pakistan and not Punjabi. Jinnah wanted to disconnect Pakistan from India, so he couldn't allow such a widely spoken language in India being spoken in Pakistan. Anyway, Paki Punjabi's are gradually all going to start speaking Urdu, so Punjabi will hardly be spoken in Pakistan soon.

@goodbutbad89 Good point. It seems why are Sikhs so militant-minded though the ones I have met, the newer generation and in US is not like that? Bengalis are the best. Whether Hindus or Muslims, they share the love for the language without fighting.
