Shaman Healing Songs: VC2

Traditional Amazonian healers or curanderos, claim the spirits of the plants communicate with them through lullabies, called Icaros. Every being in the rainforest has an Icaro and its melody alone is believed to possess curative powers. These songs have been described as the "quintessence of shamanic power". While there has been little research conducted on Icaros, we do know that the songs are used to call defenders, cure specific illnesses, attract the love of another and call the spirits of the deceased. We are grateful to the Boras of Pevas, Peru and all of the healers who shared their songs to make this possible.

@Farfromhere001 Sorry but i had to comment on this, " Anything that alters the mind/body besides food and water is a drug, period. " Thats basicly the words you are speaking, the connection you can have with nature, or animals/pets. Drugs is a definition defined by people who need to define everything, wich in my opinion is the meaning of things you cant define, they are here and while they are here let us enjoy it while they may be gone in moments.

@calypsopiter it's about facts. not good or bad. you are the one who attaches a negative connotation to the word "drug", let go of your preconceived notions of what a "drug" is and look at the true definition of the word and accept it for what it is.

But if you want to show you are smart in criteria of this matrixlike world instead of pursuing the one truth with your heart, you might have a need to name, pigeonhole and judge everything... point what is good and what is bad, what is drug and what is not...
