Charlie Gracie achieved four UK top 30 hits in the late 1950's. His first was the original version of Butterfly reaching no.12, Andy Williams cover version reaching no.1. The second hit Fabulous was a top 10 hit reaching 8 then came the double A side Wanderin' Eyes and I Love You So Much It Hurts wich peaked at no. 6. Charlie's final hit was Cool Baby reaching no. 26 in 1958. Charlie still performs in the US and across Europe.
Wanderin' Eyes is taken from the original 1957 45 rpm record
CORRECTION: Charlie's version of BUTTERFLY was actually the ORIGINAL--reaching Number 1 in America on the Billboard Chart...as did Andy's cover! Shows the power of a great and catchy tune. Love Wandering Eyes too--a Number 6 hit for Charlie in the U.K.
