The Morning Line, one of Thyssen-Bornemisza Art Contemporary's most ambitious projects, is a platform for contemporary music and composition, a public art structure -- 8 meter high and 20 meter long, built of 20 tons of coated aluminum. A four-day Festival for Spatial Sound and Advanced Music Composition in June 2011 featuring 27 sound artists and nine new compositions, specially conceived for the pavilion's sonic architecture kicked off The Morning Line's six months residency on Schwarzenbergplatz in Vienna.
