at home these women take off their coverings and their children see their faces and play with their mothers. i have never met an afghan woman and i will certainly not let the western media create a picture in my mind of her. but i gotta say the WORLD not just afghanistan is in desperate need for change and reform and that will never happen if women are not on the front lines making that happen
