No they didn't, the Taiki and the Furai are two seperate vehicles. The Furai is a rear engined racecar designed on a LMP2 chassis while the Takai is a front engined concept car.

I wonder how it will react if it flips, with that glass roof... could become nasty, and what if you pop one of the back tires? Going to be a challange to change those wheels...
