Instead of delivering any idiotic or senseless comments like Bush or Saddam, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad strengthened Iran's defence, and now in her toughest time, he's trying to make new friends for Iran ....always with a pleasant smile. now THAT'S a true leader. I hope my Irani brothers and sisters understand that this is bigger than politics, that man is trying hard to protect Iran from getting terrorised for the second time within 40 years.

@AmericanPatriot53 So you think selecting a hypocritical idiot coward as a president is a good thing for national security... Gingrich is only going to follow whatever they pay him to follow. If they pay him for war he will make war. Don't think he's going to care how many americans will die. @TRYCLOPS1 Some bases can/have been cut but new bases open up. Philippines has asked for US warships to base again in the Philippines to counter Chinese intrusion into Spratleys. 2500 Marines to Austrailia simply to send a message. Newt would listen to competent military advice. Obamas speech today stole the Republican arguement of US Energy (Hes just figuring this out now?). But it's US energy first and production second. Wipe out foreign Aid and Deped thats a trillion in savings over 10 yrs.

@AmericanPatriot53 We need to focus a lot on domestic affairs. Clean up Bush and Obama's mess. There are a lot of policies that make this country less efficient and money shouldn't be wasted like that. And sure, you and me can say that they would never be that stupid as to send a ground attack on Iran but you and me know that this government is capable of doing that shit man. I know RP most likely wouldn't do that, but a person like Newt would take the risk! I rather be safe.

@AmericanPatriot53 I know but what are we gonna do just keep expanding? Is it just not possible to cut some bases and see how it goes and whenever we solve the economic issues we go back if China expands too much? We need to cut foreign spending and start from 0. We need to either re-evaluate all foreign aid or just cut it all or seriously decrease it until we balance the budget cutting taxes and restructure a better economic environment for lucrative and social balance.

@TRYCLOPS1 While the US is fully capable of defeating China in a regional conflict, invasion is a completely different matter. Thats why we will not invade Iran, with it's huge Basij force and proud people it would be a nightmare. Naval and Air only in the case of Iran closing the straiits. China is building it's first foreign military base in the Seychelles. This will help protect its interests in central Africa. US interests really center around the Med and North Africa.

@AmericanPatriot53 But anyway I think you are wrong in believing Gingrich would actually be beneficial for the country (and I bet money on it). However you seem a little informed on at least part of it. Our economic crisis is going to be our demise if we don't act now. RP is the only one who has an actual plan. RP is the only one who even discuss monetary policy! The rest are just garbage. They can't even bring substance to a debate. This country deserves better.

@AmericanPatriot53 In fact, that's in most animals' nature. Wolves decide leadership at a young age. The one that takes it is the one that just doesn't hesitate to show agression and be confident about it. Size doesn't matter but the attitude. We are animals too. But human civilizations are a little more complex than that. And a simple action without a good analythical thought can be devastating. Iraq is an example. @AmericanPatriot53 In war there is no moral. You sure are right on that one. That's why it needs to be a last resort. First of all, RP does not plan to close all the bases. Even if he tried I don't think he would be able to. I understand about the trade routes. China is already ascending. They don't have an army as strong, but at the time it will be impossible for us to invade them and win in case of war. You want a leader that is not hesitant. That's in your nature and mine.

@AmericanPatriot53 The palestinian problem is more complex than that. But its not going to be solved by imprisoning them in a small piece of land or by denying their existance. We deffinately leave Israel to deal with their own problems so we don't get dragged into the same conflict. Israel already moderates our media so we should deal with that too. Almost nobody here knows about the 2008 massacre in Gaza with more than 1300 ppl killed by Israeli bombings and chemical weapons
