I agree, cameras in the Court are going to be obtrusive and hindering to justice. Cameras will make the Court system a TV channel. There is a lot more civic if a person just goes and learns how to access the Court system the current way then just flick to a channel.
Of all the workplace hardships endured in this world, I'm thinking non-existent clicking remains pretty low on the list...even among the hardships endured by those models of long-suffering & exploited labor, judges.
And really what's the upside? Expanding transparency of and public access to the role, power, and politicization of the Supreme Court? What good would that be?
thats stupid, the camera may make a little noise but you dont have to worry about focusing on those 20 minutes because you are recording it and you can watch it again. and if a noise that cameras makes really makes you lose focus then you have attention problems and shouldnt be a judge. do we really have such idiots on the courts...
Israel is holding Cynthia McKinney captive ...her and 20 other aid workers where kidnapped from a boat by the Israeli navy ..and yet its not even makeing the news..we hear about Iranians who worked for the british being held but the first black woman presidental canadate is sitting in an israeli prison and we don't even hear about it ...why not ..where is the coverage ..where is the outrage ..
I support her fully. Israel has no right to stop anyone from interring gaza, it's not their country. but lets also be very clear about the boat that McKinney was on, and what happened. The boat she was on had no supplies at all, it was a PR mission. ie a stunt.
They were offered a chance to leave, and they refused. She wants to see the Judge. and rightly so, unfortunately her stunt is backfiring, bec she is not getting the intention she desired, but i do agree this needs attention, and Israel must stop this. But you cannot kidnap the willing

This isn't even about clicking, this is smoke and screen to shut the people out!
