IT'S STURDY ENOUGH FOR HIM TO PULL HIMSELF ALL THE WAY THROUGHA man in an adjoining cell tried to do the same, but officers stopped him before he could get out of his cell. It was all seen by a dispatcher monitoring surveillance cameras.(SOT: SOTELO)THE COMMUNICATION WAS DOING HIS JOB CORRECTLY TO WHERE HE WAS MONITORING WHILE HE TOOK CARE OF HIS OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES. WE WERE ABLE TO STOP HIM BEFORE IT BECAME WORSE.Jesus Chavez and Roman Martinez already faced burglary of a vehicle and other charges. Police say they expect to file new charges.They also realize that the jail needs some changes.(SOT: SOTELO)WE'RE GOING TO TRY TO SEE HOW WE CAN MODIFY THE VENTING SYSTEM TO AVOID THIS ALL TOGETHER. Ya, so he let him climb up into the ceiling, because he knew the suspect would fall into the Chief's office where he could do another of his responsibilities and arrest the escapee. WHATEVER! He was probably playing solitaire on the computer and heard the guy crash through the ceiling and went to see what the hell made the noise, THEN he saw it was the suspect and arrested him. LOL
