Kazakhstan Dombra

Here I am playing an instrument from Kazakhstan. It is a two stringed lute called a dombra.

I first play a real Kazakh tune that I learned from a Kazakh person during my trip. I jam out in the middle on some melodies I made up. At the end I bring it back to Kazakhstan!

Telling that this instrument is from Kazachtan is like saying Turks are from Kazachtan. Dombra is a TURKIC instrument and it belongs to EVERY Turk!

The Baglama is also a Turkic instrument and it also belongs to EVERY Turk.

Just because Turkey uses a baglama generally and Kazachstan uses a Dombra generally does NOT mean it belongs to the country where it's played mostly!
