In 1978 Arnold Neracher file a patent on the use of a material with high dielectric constant (BaTiO3) for making compact Blumlein lines.
This invention was sold to Canadian society PRA commercialize nitrogen lasers NITROMITE series
This laser give a peak power of 200 kW during 100 picoseconds at 5 bars cavity pressue and 300 picoseconds at atmospheric pressure.
Applications: time resolved spectroscopy, dye laser pumping, cell surgery,microstructuring, laser induced bonding, hardening and cleaning
