[how to] install games on Homebrew PS3 HD tutorial

things you need
(jailbroken PS3..3.55 firmware or lower..videos on youtube to show you how to get that)
Backup Manager

GAMES THAT ARE ON 3.60 FIRMWARE WON'T PLAY UNLESS IT'S A FIX OUT FOR IT...ALSO ANY OTHER GAMES MAY HAVE FIXES TO THEM ALSO..SO MAKE SURE YOU DL THEM..TO GET THE GAMES TO WORK

ALSO IF A GAME IS MORE THEM 4GB YOU CAN STILL PLAY IT ON YOUR EXTERNAL HD(if you don't want the big file on your PS3 HD) BY USING Multiman

Usb External HD(80 gb and up)if you wanna install alot of games on it(make sure it's formated to FAT32..ntfs(WON'T WORK)..videos on youtube about that
Usb thumbdrive

first thing:
jailbroken PS3 if it's not already
formated your Usb External HD to FAT32.
dl a ps3 game from utorrent or a forum
dl a back-up Manager and OPENPS3FTP 2.3 (make sure usb thumb drive is plug in your PC and extract the pkg file onto your usb..unplug it..plug it in your PS3..go to install package files or if you on Rebug CFW firmware it'll say package manager..install each one..if you use Multiman then open it up and do all that accept stuff then close out...open up OPENPS3FTP..leave it open..remove your usb thumbdrive)

NOTE: after you done everthing..you only need to put in one disc you have bought and use that to play ever other game

now go back to your PC..plug in your USB HD (if you going use a USB External HD to put your games on..make sure you formated it to FAT32)..then go to your USB HD and inside it make the folders in caps GAMES or you can call it GAMEZ..if you also want to put music, videos, pictures and themes on there then make these folders also in caps MUSIC VIDEOS PICTURES..for themes make a folder PS3 and inside that ps3 folder make another folder called THEMES...now

DL/install filezilla..when your game is done DL-ing..extract it somewhere..once thats done you'll get a folder...open up filezilla..go to file-site manager-new site(name it w/e you want)..look on your TV and in openps3ftp it'll say status:ftp server active(then your ip address will show)..type that into HOST on filezilla..port is 21..login type normal-user is root..pass is w/e you want it to be or you can leave as is...connect

if you going to put the games on your USB hd..then go to the right said and push dev_usb001 or it may say dev_usb002..then click on GAMES or GAMEZ folder..go to the left side and go to the game folder you DL..right click and push upload(it'll take some time to get done)

if you going to put it on your PS3 HDD then go to the right side dev_HDD0 GAMES or GAMEZ if it says it...left side..go to thegame folder you DL..right click and push upload(it'll take some time to get done)

you can also use this to FTP videos, music, pictures and themes..just do the same thing as in games but go to there folders and upload..can also do it with pkg files..just go to either dev_HDD0 or dev_usb00 1 or 2..then just push upload

2 WAY TO DO THIS IS(which i think is faster when it comes to big GB size)
DL PS3Splitter or split4G
unplug your Usb External HD from the PS3 and plug it in your PC
open up PS3Splitter(i didn't show this one in the video..but to use it..go to options-browse to your USB HD and select it..then go to excecute..browse your game folder you DL and select..then it'll do what it does) or split4G(the video shows this one so just follow what i did)

after thats done..then just unplug and plug it back in your ps3..go to your backup manager and follow the rest of the video

THE 3RD WAY THAT I DIDN'T SHOW(and if you don't have internet)
if you don't have a USB HD..then use your USB thumbdrive(make sure it's enough space on it)..make the GAMES or GAMEZ folder inside it and all the rest of the MUSIC PICTURES VIDEOS PS3/THEMES folders if you want..then just do the same thing as in the 2nd way...then plug it back in your PS3..go to a backup manager and copy it to your PS3 HDD....if you want your pics and etc to go on there also..just drag and drop them in there folders

NOW GO TO YOUR BACKUP MANAGER AND PUSH REFRESH AND YOUR GAME SHOULD SHOW UP..ALSO IF YOU USING Multiman THEN YOU CAN GET ALL YOUR VIDEOS..MUSIC..PICTURES ON THERE ALSO..

WANT TO BACK-UP YOUR GAMES FROM A DISC..PUT IN DISC..GO IN Multiman OR W/E MANAGER YOU GOT..PUSH COPY
