@Quickdust Man, that sounds really sucky. The number keys are usually used for selecting weapons :/ It should've been G, Q or something else, hah. I would rebind it, but oh wait, that's not possible :D

Not that it matters, by the way. The grenade is pretty useless in this game XD

Pressing 4 to throw a grenade was also in Modern Warfare but yeah. Since you couldn't see any controls or even was allowed to follow a tutorial makes me forgive you. But you gotta say this game ROCKS!
