PaperFoam BV is a multinational Dutch company specialized in earth friendly packaging for CD's and DVD's and custom made packaging.
The CD and DVD cases replaces the plastic trays in the "digipack" type packaging. This means that a 100% paper based packaging solution now is available. Retailers like Wal-mart are driving for lower CO2 emissions. The PaperFoam solution has at least 10 times lower CO2 emissions compared with current petroleum based media packaging.
The PaperFoam solution is the current earth friendly packaging standard for the major music companies, like EMI, Sony BMG and Universal.

These cases would be great if people threw out their DVD/CD cases....but nobody does. Collectors want packaging that's substantial and that will last, not a flimsy biodegradable POS.
