It has a Teddy Bear face because studies have shown that happy faces help ease stress with people who have been traumatized. If a menacing robot came to pick you up after you've been shot, it would send you further into shock and that works against your chances of survival.

If you're gonna call a robot the BEAR, at least make the BEAR look menacing. As in meaning, instead of a teddy bear head, why not use a badass bear head. Otherwise, just use cameras.

stupidest thing i have ever seen/heard of...i wouldn't trust my life with that piece of shit. what if it gets shot up..look at all those exposed wires and cables..even if they do decide to add armaments on im sure it won't be able to stop small rounds...i'd tell my guys just let me die. dont let that thing carry me into the open and get me shot up. the "BEAR" is better off with IEDs.
