The bookmarklet seems to trade away security for convenience. If the user logs in to passpack and walks away from their computer without locking their desktop, whoever sits down next will have access to all their accounts. Not a problem at home, but it could be at work, in internet cafes... anywhere the user would use passpack, outside of home. Or is that problem averted by turning off 1-click? Can we set it to ask for the master password every time the bookmarklet is clicked?
Ya, thats the main point we gotta think about. I think self cryptography is the best way to secure our password, specially for those who has lots of accounts.
Passpack seems like the solution to my needs. Just one problem - one which I haven't found the answer to anywhere on your website. What happens if your company goes belly-up? What assurance do I have that my logins won't be lost forever, causing me innumerable headaches?
I suppose I could keep a separate list of websites, user id's and passwords on my PC -- but that would kinda defeat the purpose of passpack, in terms of convenience and security, wouldn't it?

You can download an offline version of Passpack, which can backup your password.

Or next alternative is install Keypass. Download it, its for free. But make sure, your system doesnt crash. Nothing is fully secure.
