I think the real issue is not so much a "romantic" vs. "baroque" interpretation, but the particular style of the pianist. In fact in Bach a large range of interpretations are possible. Generally I tend to prefer a baroque style in Bach than a romantic one. However some pianists, such as Brendel, Argerich or Gavrilov tend to be more "pianistic" than baroque, and yet their Bach is very musical.

good playing but he seriously needs alexander technique lessons! The fugue is quite fast but once you get used to the (in my opinion) naff speeds it is pretty enjoyable. I prefer my interpretation and although this is not the best I have heard it's quite good

He, Piotr Anderszewski, and Murray Perahia, I would say.

Someone should play this to Simone Dinnerstein to show her how to romanticise Bach without self-indulgence.

Although this is played with a romantic interpretation instead of baroque and many people will criticize it, i personally love the way this is played.
