So, it seems I'm having a period where I feel like starting my series' over again. In this javascript tutorial #1 part two, we cover the document.write() function along with the alert() function and how to use them properly. If you liked this tutorial, please check out my others. Please rate, comment favourite and subscribe.

P.S. I have 2 other tutorials done, but I need to go to sleep, so I'll upload them tomorrow. I'm also going to record the 4th (covering new content) tomorrow.

  • And are there situations when one would use multiple ids for a given element?

  • Not that I know of, because there is no point in an element having more than one name... (plus, it wouldn't be possible, as I don't think HTML allows it...)

  • I need to ask your help on 2 things. First thanks man for the info on the webhosting that's cool and may Allah reward you for that. Second need to take down my pages and load new ones do I delete them on the remote site first or do I get them from the remote site and put them from my local root folder. Everytime I try to get the files from the remote site they end up stay on the remote site and I can not update the pages to increase my portfolio as well as shop the site to a potential buyer...

  • If you want to get rid of pages, and you have a copy of them (if you would like to keep them), then you can delete them and upload the new ones, or just upload the new ones and overwrite the old ones. Those are the only 2 ways to remove files from a server...

  • excellent

  • You pan around way too much!

  • Thank you! You should be a teacher! I learned in 20 minutes what took one month in school.... thx again!

  • Next thing is regarding CSS coding. I don't think that you taught this, but, you are one that has strong grasp of coding so I ask: How does one seperate multiple inline attibutes? I am seeing it is a semi-colon but wanted to make sure. How does one seperate mulitple class attributes in the internal style sheet for one class with multiple attributes? Commas, semi-colons or colons?

  • Asib need help finding free web hosting that will give access to server info attempting to launch a site for help with debugging as well as to show to potential buyer of code work. So let me know if you know of any stress free free web hosting.
