Trip wire alarms for retreat security

I show 2 different combat multipliers that will increase your security by providing early warning of your perimeter. A simple alarm that can be purchased for $1 can turn into a perimeter alarm. Also a chemlight tripwire devise can be used at night for early warning. Its called Cyalume,surface trip flare.

Do you believe that youths should be taught how to be self sufficient? I believe it should be taught in schools, which it is not.

@nwohioprepper The only way you can go outdoors in my school is by joining the Air Force JROTC program i am in and taking ground school, which i have done. I am also learning many outdoor skills from the Boy Scouts and working on my Eagle rank. I believe that if the shtf i will be able to take care of my family because i live in a rural area, live on a farm and hunt. But what isn't taught in schools may be more important than what is in some cases. Like guns and the bible.

@youthprepper Remember wether it is taught in school or not your future will always be in your control. Take charge of your own destiny and find the information you need. Back when I went to school, we got to go to a outdoor wilderness camp for one week As part of school and it opened my eyes to the outdoors. Its was not teaching self sufficent, but it was fun, I wish they had something like that even if it was in the summer in the form of a camp.

In this day & age,I personally would boobie trap my entire property. I'd set up clotheslines with piano wire, pits with sharpened spears, slingshots, catapult ect.

If you are in the woods where there is plenty of wild varmints, wouldn't the Trip wires be going off. all the time?,
