The horror of Sept. 11, displayed in a compilation from a wide range of material. This film shows how unthinkable these events were and how much exceeding every human scope.

This is NOT the Special "102 MINUTES THAT CHANGED AMERICA" from History Channel, premiered on 9/11/2008, but a video privately made in 2006 and posted here Jan/Feb 2007. The History Channel coincidentally took a very similar title for their presentation.

i remember my mom waking me up, absolutely terrified. i had done homework all night long and went to bed literally as the first plane hit. i'm in california..i remember looking at the clock when i was getting under my blankets. 2 hours later my mom woke me up. we sat and watched the tv all day. it was absolutely heartbreaking seeing my parents cry. my dad grew up watching the twin towers being built, when they came down he was completely shattered. his father worked on the original twin towers.

I was a freshman in highschool and it was my first week in school. Was leaving my 2nd period computer class to american history. Principal comes on the loud speaker and says "a terrible tragedy has occured in our country as one of the WTC towers in NYC have been victim of a terrorist attack and its my decision to allow all classrooms to show the occuring events on the tv. I feel as though this is a defining moment in all our lives..god bless us and our country". We all watched the horror unfold.

@jbrown223 You're lucky. I was in 6th grade at the time, and they put our wing under an information blackout. Wouldn't tell us a damn thing. Rumors were flying left and right. Some said that Air Force One had been shot down, others said that Mexico had invaded us. Eventually I got fed up and just had to find out what was actually going on, so I walked out of the classroom and into the library. The A/V department had every TV they owned up and running, each turned to a different news station.
