I had to repost this because it wasn't complete before. Sorry about that...But yeah this was released on Decca in 1966. It's one of the groups more forgotten about singles because it was released after their hot period in the surf era. "Obscure" kind of fits it. Singing and band-sound don't seem to match, really. The speed doesn't seem to fit, especially in the solo. The refrain goes into screaming, nearly punk-rockequeske and ahead of their time.

@MrEntropyProductions this maybe the first electric version ken forsi played bass in the surfaris then he was in love who also recorded hey [ their whole first album soudslike hey joe ] joe bryan clean of love was a road manager for the byrds before he was in love the byrds recorded it after the leaves
