Amazing the number of variations in Pinan Godan from one style to the other (and even within the same school), even though it's still one of the "basics". It's nice to see it done slowly, though, sometimes it's all just a blurr. Nice clear definite movements.

We are all really spoiled nowadays ,as we have the power of the internet, where we can access allmost anthing on any subject,when i started< I used to photocopy pictures from books as a memory aid !!!You have to use what s available, if you have a good Sensei , he will put things right anyway

how good is it that you can more or less teach yourself the basics of a kata at home, and then go to class to have refined? i am pressed for time to learn what i need to for next grading, and my sensis suggested i youtube it...can you image what the grandmasters would say!

very good demonstration of this kata in shito ryu style
we usually dont understand steps due to the high speed ofg kata performer but here sensei ramon has done it very slowly and made it very easy to understand and remember.

Good technique, a little bit of a stumble, but not bad. I am a 1st dan myself, and this is a nice, short kata.
