@Animeman73 Funny you didnt hear it then.. Got as much airplay as "Only the Lonely" and reached #9 in the late summer of 1983. It got played quite a bit, and even Adult Contemporary stations picked it up as well.

I didn't really find out about this song untill a few years ago. But this is an example of a time when music was actually good. When music has that certain heart, feel, and soul to it, it's a joy to listen to. I was a child during the 80's but I heard the motels other hit "Only the Lonely" and like it this isa true masterpiece of music. That's why this Anime loving Gen Xer gives this song a favorite and a BIG thunbs up!

Ok Now! This song is most certainly totally awesome in magical proportions! This song takes me back to days of skating rinks, hanging at the park, the river or the local store with my friends with this song blasting on the boom box and the warm summer sun of youth. Oh how it felt to be alive and carefree then.I had the craziest and funnest times of my life then. The best memories! :-D I love the 80's with all my heart and soul. I miss it too! It all ended too soon, way too soon! :-(
