It's Going To Be Okay - Episode 24 Part 1

*The next day at school, Demi was at her locker, gathering her books for next class*
David: (Walks up smiling) Hey Dem.
Demi: (Trying not to think about the past nights events) Hey David.
David: How are you?
Demi: Fine, I guess. You?
David: (Still smiling) Im great.
Miley: (Walks to where David and Demi were standing) Hey Demi (Smiles) Hey Davie (Kisses him)
Demi: (Sees them kiss and looks away, holding back her tears)
Miley: So Demi, thought we should say thank you.
Demi: For what?
David: Getting us out last night. We had a good time at the movies.
Demi: (Closes her eyes, thinking about what went on with her, Joe, Nick and Cody last night after the movie, a tear falls) Yeah, no problem.
Miley: (Notices the tear fall down her cheek) Demi, are you okay?
Demi: (Nods) Im fine, Mi.

*Nick and Selena walk up to them hand in hand. Demi immediately noticed Nick looking at her and closed her locker*
Demi: (Looks at David and Miley) Ill see you guys later (Walks down the hall)
Selena: (Confused) What happened, is she okay?
David: I dont know.
Miley: All we did was thank her.
Selena: Thats weird.
Nick: (Sighs, knowing she left because of him) Ill be right back (Walks away in search of Demi)

*Around the corner, Nick sees Demi with her back against the wall and her face aimed towards the floor, he walked over to her and lifted her face*
Nick: Demi
Demi: (Pushes his hand away) I dont know what you want me to say.
Nick: You dont have to say anything, Dem. Im sorry about what happened last night. I dont know what came over me.
Demi: Im sorry I slapped you, I just dont understand why you would kiss me (Noticing Joe walking down the hall, she turned her face toward him)
Nick: (Notices a bruise on her cheek) Demi, what is that from?
Demi: (Puts her hand on her face where Cody slapped her) I know I hurt you when I slapped you, so Im sorry.
Nick: (Shakes his head) I deserved it Joe didnt do that to you did he?
Demi: No.
Nick: Demi!
Joe: (Arrives at where they were standing) Hey Dem, Sel said you were acting weird, is everything alright?
Demi: (Thinking; I cant let him see the bruise, or find out anything that happened) Of course, Im fine, just have to go to the bathroom really badly (Kisses his cheek) Ill be right back.
Joe: (Confused, he nods)
Nick: Demi
Demi: Just let it go Nick (Walks into the bathroom)
Joe: What is she talking about?
Nick: Umm, nothing. I need to get to class (Walks away)

*Demi hurries into the bathroom and got her makeup out of her purse. She piled as much make up on her face as she could in order to cover the bruise. Once she was finished she walked out of the bathroom, only to notice Joe there waiting for her*
Demi: (Sighs) You didnt have to wait for me.
Joe: (Smiles) I wanted to.
Demi: (Nods)
Joe: Demi, whats going on? Why are you acting like this? And why did you leave last night?
Demi: Its nothing Joe, can we please just go to class?
Joe: (Takes her face in his hands and kisses her)
Demi: (Once he did this, she remembered the kiss her and Nick had shared and pulled away, and looked down)
Joe: (Hurt, once more) Babe, did I hurt you last night? Was it not okay? Please tell me.
Demi: No, Joe, last night was wonderful. I couldnt have asked for a better first time with you. Im just not feeling well. I think Im going to head outside for some air. Ill see you in English (Kisses his cheek again, then walks away)

*Demi left the school and went to sit underneath the tree where shes done a lot of thinking in the past. She heard the first bell ring, but didnt care. She couldnt stand the thoughts in her head let alone any lesson a teacher wants to give her. She couldnt help but be confused right now. The truth is she felt something when Nick kissed her, but she loved Joe. And as far as she knew, Nick loved Selena, so why did he do this? Just then she heard someone walking from behind her*
