The assault rifles used though-out the history of the German military are examined by Larry Vickers. The Sturmgewehr 44, the Heckler & Koch G3, and the H&K G36 are the weapons profiled.

  • @agricola Its not standard issue by any means, but the G36 is still the "preferred rifle" when compared to the HK416 according to the German soldiers i encountered.

  • @breakurselff vickers helped HK dovelop the HK45.

  • vz 58 > 90% of assault rifles made, be they russian, american or german.

  • @2005ttr125 the germans dont use the hk416. its not standard issue anywhere in the bundeswehr.

  • never heard of the dime method. I'll have to adopt that
