Donald's funny because of his temper, and he knows when he's in a predicament. Goofy is funny because I don't think he's smart enough to know he's in trouble. Yet he takes a predicament quite well; he just laughs it off as if it's no big deal. Pluto is funny because he just doesn't have the balls to face a problem head-on,. Mickey Mouse is probably the least funny because he hardly has a problem to deal with.

Goofy doesn't talk in many of these "How to..." cartoons because Pinto Colvig was in Miami from 1938-1941, working for the Max Fleischer studio, doing voices for characters such as Gabby and even Bluto, and even writing stories for some of the cartoons. Disney had to recycle some of his old voice recordings or (in rare instances) hire a substitute.

Yeah, it would have. :/ I love Mickey and all, but I definitely understand why he was losing popularity by the 1940s. Some people thought Disney sanitized him WAY too much. In his early days, he was quite the rascal: abusing animals, doing things to Minnie that we would call sexual harassment nowadays, and he also smoked once or twice. I understand parents were having an issue and wanted Mickey to tone down, but he toned down too much!

I don't think they bothered to give Mickey alot of problems, it would've probably help him develop more characterizations.

Wow! The same voice Paul Frees used as the narrator for the Jay Ward cartoons.

You also gotta love Goofy's silly and awesome cries and laughs, it's impossible to NOT smile when he starts giggling or shouting to himself. XD

Did you know the journey of the Olympic torch was invented by the Nazis for the 1936 Olympics as a propaganda tool to try and unite the Aryan races.
