I hate to admit it, but I always hated Plato. Now I realize why. This had previously happened with my understanding of the Bible. The professors and preachers had bleached and desicated these works for me. Now, I can read them with brand new eyes, really understanding them at last.

well I should add that Cathrin I think in english medici was run out of Constantinopol and took all the Byzantium art's knowledge with thousands of cook's astrologer's musician's and all that where in the palace on a trip from constantinopol to italy i think but the knowledge spread all through europe ..thank u this is a wonderful lecture :-)
