whatever is used to make Chopin's music more popular, I am in favor of. Whether or not I agree with the medium. That being said, I've never seen "The Pianist", but would like to :-)

You should. Its a wonderful movie. Unfortunately, I recall only 3 Chopin works in the film: the nocturne in c sharp minor (which i dont like), the 1st ballade (minus the most beautiful section of it) and of course the glorious grand polonaise with which the film ends.
