Braid Speed Run - Crossing The Gap 39.52

This speed run is ranked 8th at the time of uploading. I'm still trying to figure out how SprintGod got 29.07. :O

I found a few things that save off... milliseconds. First off, instead of making your shadow flip the switch, get to the right edge and jump and immediately rewind then flip the switch. Then, after you get the 2nd piece, flip the switch when the goomba is walking on it to speed him up. Like I said.. milliseconds.

This level took me 20 minutes!!!! the first time...

i have seen people jump from the ladder up to the ledge were the second piece is  ive never done it before but they say to double tap a or some weird thing like that

Just grabbed 4th place with a time of 28:68.  Not sure if I can crack those top 3.

people get the times with a glitch. i have no idea how to perform it but you get middle piece by climbing to the top of the ladder and doing some weird ass jump to get up there without a goomba.

UPDATE:

I finally was able to get under 29 seconds tonight, tying for 5th place with a time of 28.92! I'll post a video ASAP.

I just got a 29 second time... currently 7th place on the leaderboard with 29.47 (BenKalvin). I thought my run was flawless, but apparently there is still room for improvement, as the new leader is 28 something. I will post a video soon if i can.

I haven't tried this yet but after getting the first puzzle peice, stay up on that ledge and jump off it the exact moment the goomba is in the right spot, therefore jumping you up to that second ledge. Since a normal jump won't work, you'd need to be exact and hit the right corner of the first ledge to propel you farther and give you more speed...... maybe?
