I have two pairs too! If they made them now like they used to make them back in the day, they might be the only sneaker brand in my closet. When they came back in '08, I was pissed that they only came in mens sizes 8-12. What about the ladies? I really wanted those purple hi-top special editions. If they marketed this brand right, they could give Nike and Under Armour a run for their money.

@MaeganG1803 i think the rumor was started by some well meaning parents to stop their kids for wanting the shoes (they were expensive at the time). the "blood killer" rumor was obviously started by a rival shoe company...likely Nike.

It trips me out when people believe that rumor about the klan. If the ku klux klan created these, then why in the world would they pay people like MC Hammer, Public Enemy, and Kool Moe Dee millions in endorsements to wear these? You know, the klan is notorious for hating black people. Why would they give so much money to black hip hop artists to market their products? Better yet, why would these rappers join forces with a klan operated company? Stupid rumor. I don't see why anyone believed it.
