ANATHEMA is about the youth. Its challenges, weaknesses, disappointments, but also about its dreams, hopes, virtues. It tries to question the essence of youth, when it comes both to its positive and negative attributes.

ANATHEMA - Divided, conquered; is about the challenges the youth has to face. In an ever-changing world, we are challenged by a not-so-promising future. It's not just the politicians that are corrupt: the whole society is, more or less. That can be proved by the fact that often, instead of uniting for a better future, parts of the youth choose to blame one another. Instead of finding a common point of agreement that can make everyone satisfied, people choose to put some kind of blind trust in their own ideologies. For many people, "Fighting for a better future" has become a fight for power, whether they realize it or not.

And so, parts of the youth have become divided and conquered. Hopeless and impotent. Feeling devalued or without a role to play in this world. Blinded by ignorance and a fake feeling of satisfaction.

What will become of our future, if those who should be fighting for it are part of those who ruin it?
