@littlerockette I have a dachshund puppy. He's 2 months old. He whines and cries all night long. He wants whines and cries all day long when I leave for work. I think he's got separation anxiety. How do I fix that? It's bothering my roommate.

@LaoSoftware Have you mentioned that to his vet? Where does he sleep at night and where is he during the day when you are at work? It could possibly separation anxiety. There are a few solutions I can think of, not sure if they will help or not... but they are worth the try. 1) Get a clock and wrap it in a warm blanket ( mimics the heart beat of mom) 2) Puppy daycare ( he can play with other puppies all day long) 3) The Thundershirt (a shirt that gives them a "hug" and makes them feel safe.

The title of this video is "No one puts Sasha in the back seat", so as we can see on the video(if that's the dog you wrote about in the title) that that dog is on the back seat. Why did you write in title that no one does that?????

My dachshund does that too—when he really wants to bark but knows he shouldn't, he whines and gives these small yips.

Perheps try also putting him in a bench at night and for the first two or three night sleep next to him, but do not open the door when he cries! Also try a shirt that has your smell on and give it to him to sleep on. You can also try let him go to sleep a bit on your lap and then gently put him in his basket. Also try a vetinarian or dog trainer to help you.
