Cristian and Layla March 1, 2010

Cristian struggles to pull away from Jessica's passionate kiss. Later he tries to explain that time has moved on and they aren't together but Jessica is persistent that they should still be together. Jessica asks Cristian if he is single and he mentions he is with Layla but hesitates when Jessica asks him if it's serious or if he's in love. He talks about how Layla makes him want to get it right and how good she makes him feel and says she is funny, smart and beautiful and then adds that he loves her. He encourages Jessica not to give up hope.

Layla runs into Brody and inquires as to how Jessica's faring. He explains that the doctor's are baffled and Jessica is still in 1997. Layla wonders if Jessica still thinks Cristian is her boyfriend and Brody mentions that Jessica is at the hospital visiting. Later, Layla runs into Cristian at the diner and he tells her about his encounter with Jessica but doesn't mention the kiss.

This is the dumbest storyline ever. I am so sick of Jessica she is so damn weak. If its not her having different personalities its her being brainwashed. Stick her in St. Anns and leave her there. If this breaks Cris and Layla up I'm done with this soap.

OMG!!! luv dis clip. I luv da way Cris lights up when he says he girlfriend is Layla and put emphasis on the word "Beautiful" and that he LOVES her. But Layla has every right to fell threatened. i just hope it works out!!!!

I just read that Cristian realizes he still has feelings for Jessica. If that is true than what does that mean for him and Layla? And who is the other man Layla turn to for comfort? This doesn't make any since Cristian did say Layla made him want to get it right this time. But him and Jessica is so wrong.

My memory of the late 90s may be a little faulty ( I did drink a lot in those days). The main point is that whether Jess, Tess, Oops-I'm in highschool again Jess - whoever she may think she is this week- her relationship with Chris is a thing of the past. All I am hoping to see from this storyline is more screen time for Chris and Layla + their emergence from this situation with a stronger relationship.

that's not true. Jess got pregnant in 1998 but dated Cris on and off for two more years.

I don't think Jess and Chris ever even slept together. She got pregnant by Will Rappaport and that pretty much ended her relationship with Chris. By the time she moved on to Antonio, her relationship with Chris was years in the past.
