Final Fantasy IV DS Trailer (Subtitled in English)

This is my first subtitle job, so go easy on me. I had to use Windows Movie Maker, and I couldn't find a color that someone could easily read on some of the backgrounds. I ended up going with white in the end. Here's Shiva Indis' translation if you can't read it well:

Cecil: Yeah.

Rosa: To where?

Cecil: Mysidia.

Rosa: Mysidia? Why to that wizard's village?

Cecil: His majesty's order was to safeguard the crystal of water.

[Airships: the flying ships of which the people dreamed.]

[But that technology is capable of going beyond the fulfillment of dreams, and becoming a means of fulfilling ambitions.]

[The kingdom of Baron became the world's greatest millitary state through the "Red Wings" airship force.]

[Why did King Baron, posessor of unmatched power, seek the crystals?]

Cecil: Why are the crystals necessary for the prosperity of our kingdom?

Rosa: You aren't that sort of person.

Cecil: I stole the crystal from the Mysidians, from people who had committed no crime. This is exactly the image of the Dark Knight - I am stained by it's darkness. My... heart is...

Rosa: Cecil of the Red Wings would never give up like this. The Cecil I love...

It's supposed to be Seh'sill, or as it's pronounced in japanese, Se-shi-ru.

By the way, was there really a legend about a flying ship? Because I heard that it was mentioned in an old Russian story.

In the game you mean? Yes, there's the legend of the Blue Whale, a huge ship that can travel to the moon.

I'm not sure what Russian Story you're referring to.

The DS does support voice acting, Resident Evil: Deadly Silence (Remake of PS1 RE) has full voice acting. Many games have voice acting... Well, some don't.

in japanese, the name would be pronounced seh-sil, the english dub for the DS used the japanese pronunciations for all the names
