The Love Boat "Pacific Princess Overtures" Starring Pat Morita Gary Collins and Diane Baker

Business tycoon Yamashiro (played by Pat Morita) and his assistant Ken Davis (Gary Collins) are taking a cruise for one reason, and one reason only -- to buy a company owned by recently widowed Ruth Culbert Newman (Diane Baker) who is sailing onboard with her sister Eve Culbert (Selma Archerd). Mr. Yamashiro demands that Ken gets her to sell her business to him, but when she refuses, Yamashiro fires him. Ken then shows an invention to Ruth - one that Yamashiro never took seriously. Mr. Yamashiro's loss is Ruth's gain -- not only is she interested in Ken's invention, but they also become romantically involved through the whole process!
