most ppl buy american cars in america, but they have no over seas business because gm, chrysler cars never last, not fuel efficient and shitty customer service. over seas for europeans and asians, japanese cars are cheaper and not reliable.

Looks like Obama is getting tough on the working class man. Complaining about the good health insurance for workers and 100,000 dollar retirement funds for unfairly fired employees. I don't see him doing this to bankers who got billion dollar bonuses in their pay check. Or regulating Bad stock investments that got them where they are in the first place. Any one in the Auto industry for GM/Chrysler like to hear a comment on the issue from the inside because I am outside looking in..

Leadership is one of the problem why US automobile end up with such mess. The primary causes of this problem is JAPANESE CARS!!IT IS OBVIOUS. JAP CARS ARE CHEAPER AND MORE FUEL EFFICIENT! What OBAMA request automobile do now, is what should be doing by Bush adm 8 yrs ago! Also if u truely patriotic and loyal to US, why know 9 of 10 own JAP car not US car?
