my critique helped this artist. I never said this was a failure.
If you believe applauding every drawing exercise is beneficial, then go ahead. My intentions were always and only to help the artist. Stinky, you are right., generally. and I am an ignorant charlatan. NICE WORK!
@Dmdeguglimo drawing from direct observation generally implies drawing the shapes that you actually see, not structurally constructing the figure or the anatomy which involves a lot of construction lines that you don't actually see. It's more interpretative and some anatomical errors doesn't imply that the drawing was a failure.
err, its some advice. have you ever drawn from observation? it never hurts to include what you know about the skeleton and the human form into a observational drawing. Oh, shit, ad actually i wasn't talking to you, you probably cant draw yourself out of a paper bag. dumbass.
try drawing in the skeleton how you think it would fit, it would really help with the structure. nice use of shadows but really you're hiding what you don't know.
wow, this guy is going blind, averything is so dark, xD, jk... just jk

I hardly think that it was advice when you clearly state "but really you're hiding what you don't know."
And this is an open forum. I can respond to whomever I want. It was direct observation, not just observational.
And my skill as an artist has nothing to do with our conversation. So go ahead and insult me, because it just makes you an ignorant charlatan.

He was drawing from direct observation, dumbass. So what he see's is on the paper, and what he doesn't see isn't.
