this film is full of lies.. I read the book about his life and many of the events described in here are not true! as guessing or the bishop touching him and kneeling.. is a stupid movie. if you want to be fascinated read the book!

this film is a classic as far as i'm concerned.alan rickman is the only one for the role of rasputin, he doesn't pretend to be anything other than what he is in the movie.exellent acting!

I remembered when this movie first came out on HBO. I haven't seen this movie in years. Its probably been 17 years since the last time I seen it.

Alan Rickman is a great actor sometimes underrated.

Not to take anything away from this film but around 4:45min the white horse that the one guy is sitting on is taking a dump. What they couldn't retake the scene? Or it was left there as a natural moment? But I digress ....good movie though.
