@Nihilanth1982 You don't know what it's like...besides your friend only lived there for 6 months. What about part of your life, say, 7 years? I'm living in Buenos Aires right now, but let me tell you...New York is not the perfect city, it's a city that destroys and feeds dreams but the whole idea that you're surviving in such a concrete jungle with such history, so many stories...if you ca survive New York you can make it anywhere. Personally, I love New York :D

That's what I really love about living here in NY, because I can just take a few train stops, bus stops, hell even a walk and boom I'm in a totally different cultural vibe.

We just came back from new york.
Really had good time!! We took a tour bus and took tons of pictures! We stayed at the lovely house at Times Square. (Thank you! Jenny;) We travel with MTA card which costs $8.25 for an unlimited ride to anywhere in Manhattan!! If you plan to go to New York, check these before you get there.

manhattan isn't the only good part of nyc, its just the only part that most people who don't know nyc go to. I grew up in brooklyn, and i can say that it has as much to see as manhattan, i mean not everyday do u see so many different cultures just by walking a few blocks. I don't know any other city like this one, cus no city on earth has people of many different ethnicities, living in adjacent neighborhoods
