I have worked hard at keeping Payne's open. It is the oldest business in Scottsboro. It is in the first Brick builing on the square and has been on going since 1869. Of course there have been different owners and remodleing... but you can FEEL the history when you walk in! Thanks for the comment!

Oooooh man I want a cherry coke now! I use to love to walk to our local drug store/soda fountain to get a cherry coke. Boy if we make it to Scottsboro ... we will have to visit Payne's ... Thanks for the tour!
