Some of you asked me to do a little look at some of the sounds in East West Quantum Leap silver. So here it is.

NOTE: For all of the EWQL libraries, you MUST have an iLok. You can get it from them or from Sam Ash or Guitar Center. It's about 30 dollars and it's a USB thing that goes in your computer. Kind of annoykng, but you DO need it.

I go over the chours, church organs, harps, keyswitching horns, and strings as well. There are a lot more sounds in here, but it is a really nice library.

Oh, and SORRY for the video quality. I goofed something up in Sony Vegas. But the image isnt' very important so don't worry about it too much.

  • so is there piano with this?? what other instruments come with it?? thanks in advance..

  • @ineffect781 Yes there's a piano. If you go to EastWest's site and go to the EWQLSO page and look at the articulations, it tells everything you get with Silver. (The little cross marks are what comes with silver, everything else is with Gold)

  • Silver is going for 117.00 dollars until Aug. 31 so you better get it while you can and Gold is going for 297.00. Free shipping on both as well.

  • The thing I love about EW is that they make their libraries accessible to all. Not many companies do that. They have things that go from under 200 to over 2,000 and all of them sound great.

  • @nm71O Yeah the chourses do come with Silver.

  • @Dreamcube017 where did you get the chores it doesn't come free right ???

  • @jonesboy35757 I don't think so, but when I upgrade to gold, I still had the piano, so maybe.

  • @dreamsube017 one more question. Is there any piano in the Gold version?

  • @jonesboy35757 Thanks I'm glad you enjoyed it. I actually did get Gold later because it has some really useful articulations, but Silver will do just fine to start with. I'd like to do more, but I don't have a lot of money to get the new libraries like everyone else... so I can only do them when I get them which isn't often. Thanks again.

  • @dreamcube017 Man you killed this review! Finally a good review. You kust saved me some money. I was gonna buy the Gold version but this will do me just fine. BTW you are hillarious!
