Please excuse the poor quality of this video from 1984. These are the only recordings that Al ever made. In this video Al gives an introduction to Live Now and freedom to succeed. Al also talks about the thinking not being the person. The information in the brain is not you and doesn't govern your actions. He talks about living in the past, present and future. There is only the now and the next now and the next now... You need to "let go" of what's wrong not try and fix it. Stop trying to figure out life.

  • @chicanul we identify so much with the THINKING that it ends up being the thinking that tries to unwind itself from thinking. It takes an outsider familiar with the process to guide the person through the process of unwinding from thinking. This way the person is able to see the thinking at each step and separate from it. Until the person can put distance between him/her self and the thinking that thinks it is them.

  • The thinking is what we identify with, you could almost call it the personality, we learn as we grow up how to act from the input we received around us, all of this "input" gets saved, stored and replayed when we grow up and we take it as the final truth and live our lives by it. So sad, sometimes it is a really exhaustive process to literally "unstick" ourselves from it and start moving in a direction more in tune with life......

  • @chicanul yes, the ego has us buffaloed into believing it is us so we can remain living in delusion and IT can continue living OFF of us like a parasite. We miss out on our lives in the process.

  • Very true that the brain or ego operates based on information gathered over the years. Many people believe that this adaptation is their true self. But it is just an adaptation to circumstances mostly beyond our control.
